How this estimate works

Required balance = purchase price + reserve
Amount still needed = max(required balance − current balance, 0)
Measured rate = earned during sample ÷ sample minutes
Estimated wait = amount still needed ÷ measured rate

For example, with 1,000 Coins, a 5,000 Coins purchase, a 500 Coins reserve and 300 Coins earned over two minutes, the shortfall is 4,500 Coins. At that measured pace, the estimate is 30 minutes.

Assumptions

  • You enter the zone or upgrade price shown in your own server; dated guide prices are not inserted automatically.
  • The measured Coin gain includes coins you collected during an interval without purchases.
  • The same collection pace continues until the goal, and a blank reserve means zero.

Known limitations

  • This is arithmetic on player-entered values, not an official Catch Dragons To Defend economy formula.
  • It does not calculate capture odds, dragon damage, egg results, potion effects or a guaranteed future income rate.
  • New zones, upgrades and changes to your dragon team can change the rate; measure again after those changes.
